Futsal is a cornerstone of SDB’s development pathway and is regarded as one of our flagship programs. It is specifically designed to prepare players for high-level competition, accelerate technical growth, and build decision-making, speed, and confidence under pressure. Due to strong demand and the competitive nature of the program, selection into teams is based on attendance and performance at our trial sessions.

We invite all interested players to attend our upcoming trial sessions. Attendance is essential for team placement.

Players who attended the first trial are all invited back.

Liga Futsal Trials
1. Saturday 21st February
2. Saturday 28th February

SDB will be conducting trials for the upcoming Liga Futsal tournament, with teams being formed across all age groups.

Footwear:
Futsal shoes are required

Session Times:
U8 & U9 – 2:00pm
U10 & U11 – 3:00pm
U12, U13 & U14 – 4:00pm

These sessions will allow us to:
• Assess player level and suitability
• Form competitive teams
• Confirm commitment for the futsal season

Venue: Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre, Riverwood

SDB aims to enter two teams per age group, subject to player numbers and suitability.

Training Structure
Training will take place on Saturdays in the lead-up to the start of the tournament. Once the competition begins, Saturday games will replace training. Should an additional training opportunity become available after 2 May, families will be informed promptly.

Our futsal program is built for players who are serious about improving and competing at a strong level. We look forward to seeing committed players at trials and building competitive squads for the 2026 Liga season.
